Football...........................

This is a subject very close to my heart! People who know me would tell you that you can't stop me talking about this subject once you start me!!

I have followed Watford Football Club for the last 30 years. I have seen some good times following them and seen some really bad times following them. When I first started following them they played in Division 4 of the Football League. I watched a momentous rise through the divisions until they finished 2nd in the top tier of English football in 1983 under Graham Taylor. Saw them loose to Everton in the 1984 Cup Final at Wembley. I then saw the same manager bring them up into the premiership via the play offs in 1999 - I never thought I would ever see little Watford win at Wembley!

The last two years of following them have been an unexpected pleasure; seeing us get into the premiership under the leadership of the Brightest young English manager, although watching us struggle this season has been a little painful. However it is not all doom and gloom being pretty much rooted to the bottom of the Premiership this season! On April 14th I shall be having a little trip to Villa Park in Birmingham to watch the Hornets compete in one of this years FA Cup semi finals. It's all good being a Golden Boy!!!!!!!!!
